September 17th-

This is my coffee a day after spending some time with my friend Rosy. She introduced me to condensed milk in my coffee. It has never been the same. I have never turned back. It has been the demise of my hope to ever get back to "normal" weight.

September 18th-

I took a meal to the Delgado's, a family who watched Critter in the toddler class for quite sometime. Him and Ramero were very fond of each other. Sweet! They have three girls and God just blessed them with a baby boy. I like to think that God used Critter to prepare them for little Maddox. Love them!

September 19th-

He rules her and she always looks at me like, "Why do you allow this?" hahahah!!

September 20th-

How could you not love this picture? Critter had the sweet face in all the shoots before until I finally made Daniel smile and Christopher got funny. :)

September 21-

Miss Joanne...or Miss JoJo...or to Critter Mi NoNo! He loves her. She has brought him far in speech therapy.

September 22- This is the only picture that wasn't taken on "this day" in September. It was taken within the week but it is too good to pass up and not post and a fantastic replacement for a missing "pic of the day".

We Niam and Monique and there three boys over for lunch and football after church. We hung out for a long time. I can't believe I didn't get a good pic of their family. I have had company like 4 times since I have tanked on my project and every time had good intentions but missed them all. :/ At least I got this! :))

September 26th-

This tank is at his Speech Therapy class and he wants to look at it every time we leave.

September 27th-

I don't remember who he was playing .... it may have even been me.. but he was home from school that day...oh so it must have been me. haha All the others were at school. I bet I won! :)

September 28th-

He takes pictures of himself with my phone all the time. It is hilarious! He actually posted my very first Instagram photo and I didn't even know it and has done it several times since. I love it!!

September 29th-

Come on! I have been trying to get prints of my boys and I have nothing on him because this is what I get. haha I like how I can see his eye peeking though. :)

September 30th-

Had to pick Eddie up at the Police Station around midnight! Really? Yep! He went on a ride along with a friend that had picked him up from the house and then got stuck at station with a bust!! It was exciting!!

Okay for all your three who are following my blog I am going desperately try to catch up. But I will say I so think there are a few I have missed. Though my phone has proven to be helpful as I have had fun taking pictures with it in the moments of the memory. The beginning of school really did me in as we had lots of changes this year. So we will see how I do. Sorry in advance for the poor quality of many of the photos but they are fun...well most of them. :))

I know it is just a picture of the t.v. but I really wanted to post something about this day. I remember being in Texas when the towers were attacked. I had my two older boys. My mom and I were originally suppose to fly home on 9-11 but we changed our plans last minute to stay a day later. So, so, so glad we did. What a horrible memory for our country. Come Lord Jesus!

Tried to copy a cool picture I really like of Trip Lee. Didn't quite duplicate but it was fun. I am not very creative but I copy well both in my drawing and photography. I know sad. I need to develop my own style and creativity. On the upside I can figure lots of things out just by looking at it. :)

Theme for Wednesday...whoa! This fits perfectly. He was amazing!!! He had to get both front teeth pulled cause they were infected from being worn down to nerve. He laid on the chair, opened his mouth, transfixed his gaze on the t.v. hanging from the ceiling and let them work. Truly amazing. The purple thing is the laughing gas they gave him before his innumerable shots of novocain. Then out came his teeth. He cried only when we left the office and he didn't understand the numbness in his mouth. He is a trooper...to say the least.

Tuesday Tykes Therapy

Today's theme for Tuesday is Tykes. So since the only tyke I have is Critter and he has therapy on Tuesdays it worked out well. This shot is awesome. This is one of his exercises he does in order to strengthen his speech muscles to form all those consonants that have a pushing sound.....such as "p" and "b".

So as the light was fading and I realized I had almost forgot my pic of the day I got excited to get out my macro lens. I went in search for a subject. This was only one of many. I took his picture and looked down to check the exposure only to look up and find that he was gone.

We have had this t.v. forever. I actually gave it away at one point and got rid of most of my VHS tapes but it got returned to me with a few that I had given up with it. It is perfect for Critter. We just set it back up in my room. I think I need to go out hunting at the thrift store for some old VHS tapes. I am thinking that he is a bit close. haha

I watched my friends sweet little girl today and her and Critter had fun. She was so funny though. When we went to the store she was insistent that we bring her baby doll and her purse and her baby's bag. We decided on a family picnic this afternoon. We have all been running around since school started and with all the homework and rearranging of schedules we haven't seen much of each other. This place is right up the street from us and we haven't been in awhile. I came in and all I could see was that it was teeming with places for photo shoots. I LOVE this weed/flower! My hubby says it is a wild flower. It only blooms in the hottest part of summer...like 100 degrees hot and above. They popped up a few weeks back when we were having that heat wave. Trying to experiment with flash and get use to what it does at different settings. I wanted some movement but also some sharp focused parts. The boys were playing around so I pulled out the gear.....an new batteries since my flash wasn't firing properly at Skate Night! :( Anyway, this is what I got and love it. Oh my goodness!! We had so much fun. A bunch of couples from church rented out the local Old School skate rink and had an absolute blast. Skating was practically all I did when I was little and I loved getting back in the rink. We are definitely going back...they even have family night. Woo hoo! Rosy was the best. She was fast and fun and beat the boys in the race. Yes!!! Her and David even did a little under the leg pull- through...fancy and daring. Love it. Loved her. Great fun!!

These are my sweet friends who just renewed their vows in Maui and came home and threw a party "Celebrating Marriage". She had her original wedding dress altered and looked stunning. We hung out at the arcade while Jesse bowled with the youth group. He was jamming on this thing and was totally sweating afterwards....thanks to the humidity. I had it on a low shutter speed to capture his movement. I kind of like it. It is different. Trying to stretch my creativity.

We went to a ranch on 4th of July and he absolutely could not get enough of these horsies! ;) We see them all the time in the back end of our city but he has never been up close and able to pet them. He was loving it. They were SO gentle with him and let him love on them, pet them and even feed them. It was an amazing experience. I could own one. Loved it.

I think he listens to his iPod just about every night he goes to sleep. It isn't for too long but he enjoys the time since he isn't allowed to be plugged in and tuned out around the family all day. Love how this turned out.

Bustin' a move!

I went to a LeCrea concert with the three older boys last night. It was quite the experience.....one they will never forget. One that was a bunch of fun. At one point LeCrea invited some dancers to come on stage with him but a ton of people just started popping on up.....including mine. Check out the face right smack in the middle of the crowd and look at the white boy trying to bust out a move up in the right hand corner of the screen in the picture. Yep...that's my boy trying to dance!! It was awesome!

A lifetime ago!!

It feels like I did this a lifetime ago!! I found a teeny, tiny picture from an ad then enlarged and duplicated it into a graphite drawing for a college class. I have always loved the image. I gave it to my mom for a gift ,who still has the original hung in her house, and years later she had it professionally copied to give to two three other family members. She made me resign it and number them.....a little embarrassing...but for her...why not?

15 years married!!

Today was our 15 year Anniversary and the best thing about it is that we REMEMBERED!! Yes we both tend to forget our anniversary until it is upon us or past us. But this year being a big one we remembered on Monday. :)) I decided to take Eddie on a surprise photo shoot....but not just any photo shoot....a self portrait one. EVERYTHING was set on timer mode and we were constantly rushing over to pose for the pic. See more of our fun time here It was so funny and we had a blast. Happy Anniversary Honey!!

He woke up in the middle of his nap to use the restroom and then fell back asleep on me while I was editing. :) He has just woken up in this pic....well this is actually after quite a few attempts of trying to take a picture of him sleeping on me. He finally sat up and I was able to stretch my arm far enough back to snap this one. I love it!

p.s. What usually takes me about 20 minutes in editing took me at least an hour. My computer is acting ancient and running like dial up except in place of the beeping insert progress bars! ugh! No more pictures until I get my new computer. :( But then I will be all smiles. :)))))))

We have known these boys, Noah and Jordon, for a long time but have never spent nearly enough time with them. We just happened to move about a mile from them and we are all so glad. Patience, my friend and their mother, asked me watch them today while she went to SD with her little girl. They had a blast with my boys. I told them to get close for the picture and one of my boys piped up and said, "Kiss him!", hence Noah's funny face and moving out of my focal point. :)))

He's back!!

He has been gone for 6 days at camp and even though we were up there for part of the time and saw him a few times it is good to have him back home.

Not only was he up late every night we were at camp but after we got home yesterday from our 6 hour drive he slept at a friends house and was up until 1am. He is an early bird and those kind of late nights always do him in. I made him lay down, though he picked the carpet in between the coffee table and couch, and he took over a 2 hour nap.

I caught these two on the side of my friends house giggling and having a great time. They have known each since they were babies but haven't really spent time together since Ezekiel's family has lived in Mexico for the past 5 years. They are home for a year while they get ready to go to a new country to minister. I invited him over to spend the night and you should have seen him light up. He has never spent the night at a friend's house before. They were great. So excited to have them around for awhile.

These deer were all over the camp grounds when we arrived. All the little kids loved it. Obviously they aren't very afraid of people. Thinking t5hey have been fed by hand before. Matthew and Daniel thought it was so cool.

A step up from a tent

One of the families that was suppose to go did not end up coming but the husband still brought their camper up for us to sleep in. How nice is that? We were so grateful and we slept much better than we would have in a stuffy tent with an air mattress.

It took us 6 hours to reach the campsite. We went camping with the youth group from our church. Just a quick 4 day and 3 night camping adventure where Eddie did lots of video taping and I helped out with the kiddos.

Early Father's Day

We aren't going to all be together on Father's Day so I thought we would celebrate a bit early. It's good to celebrate him and give him all the attention. He deserves it.

First Walk

This was on my very first walk in my new neighborhood. It was so nice!! Daniel had been bugging me to walk to the AM/PM with him while he rode his bike. When I pulled the stroller out Critter got all excited to hitch a ride. Our walk only took like 5 minutes. So thankful or our new home.

We visited some friends today but Critter and Sully have never really played together. He finally is old enough to even be half way fun for her. She is 4. Isn't she sweet? He wasn't exactly the most charming new friend for her to play with but he eventually warmed up to her and even kissed her when they were sharing a snack. Super cute. I love the size of their watermelon piece on their plate. So funny!

I hung out with my friend at her son's party the other day and we went and got slurpees for all the guests, which happened to be all boys. We came home with 13 Sluprees!!!! What a fun idea for a party. There was no cake but I do not think it was missed. :)

Once he started learning how to high five the boys taught him to pound it right after. He will never give a high five now without putting his fist out immediately after. Don't leave him hangin'!! :)) Pryce is one of his buddies!!

I get a new camera.....for a day! I am shooting a wedding with a friend tomorrow and he wanted me to use his extra camera. This one is way better than mine and I SO wish I could get one. But I will just have to wait.
