Project Progress

Here is the progress of my current project. I still need to find the right hardware to attach it to the trunk. 

New project!

Oh I love a project! Here are some table feet I bought to attach to the bottom of my trunk. It is a bit low for a coffee table so I thought I would raise it. I will stain them first. Got this idea from a decorating book. The company forgot to attach the hardware to the feet so now I have to wait, otherwise it would probably already be done. :) I will post an after picture once it is complete.

I love a good labor intensive project. It really puts me in my element. Grant it all my other responsibilities and priorities get completely neglected but, hey, my kids love the extra "game" time and I get to enjoy my labors of love for years to come.

Here is a project that I did over summer. I scraped the ceilings with the help of Eddie and a friend. I started with the hallway to get a feel for the job. I knew it was going to be difficult. One of these days that will stop me. Physically, it was the hardest thing I have ever done but the ceilings are beautiful. It is hard to get a good picture of it but it was well worth the pain, though I think it took me a couple weeks to recover before I believed that.
