Better but not quite

He had a fever of 103 but it was masked with doses from two different medicines. It was the first time he played all day until he went down hill again. He recovered the following morning.

Family Picnic!

We decided on a family picnic this afternoon. We have all been running around since school started and with all the homework and rearranging of schedules we haven't seen much of each other. This place is right up the street from us and we haven't been in awhile. I came in and all I could see was that it was teeming with places for photo shoots. Look forward to coming back to take family photos....and another picnic!

Speech Therapy coming up!!

Today was the very first day of speech therapy. Actually it was an evaluation but she said he would qualify for twice a week therapy. Yipee!!

Sick Boy

We had three extra boys over today and he came down with a fever and had to stay up in my room. Poor little fella.

Scone Pan?

Apparently this looks like a scone pan. I posted it on Facebook and four people said it looked like a cupcake pan in the shape of scones. I don't see it...do you?

Flash Exposure

Jesse was working on his tricks so I decided to work on my flash exposure. I wanted to expose for the sky but light up Jesse too. That way I got the pretty blue sky, pink cloud, and Jesse's action at the same time. 

Preschool with big brother

Love this! He is tracing his hand for him. Sweet times.

Little Techi

He actually works the iPhone better than the computer. Trying to get him on educational stuff though. haha I should probably just sit down and pay toys with him. :)) He misses all his brothers when they are in school.

Bath time!!

He LOVES the water! He loves a bath! Here he has a mouth full of water waiting to spit it out on the shower glass door at Daniel. Love it!

Daniel's first day of school ....ever...without me!!

Oh how I love him. He looks so worried in this picture!!! The second day of school he called me crying from the office because he was afraid my friend would forget to pick him up. Poor guy.

BUT a brother and friends will keep him company and laughing. :))

This family is amazing! Christine is missing but we love them all. They are so gracious and gospel centered. They have been good friends to us and we appreciate them so much. Love the girls. :)

School Time

This is Daniel's first year in school ever. He is only going two days a week but is excited to be with his buddy Parker featured in the second window. Excited for all my boys. Excited for the year. Looking forward to their growth and mine. :)

Pouty!!

Daniel had a friend over and she played with Matthew almost the entire time. He was so pouty. He wanted her all to himself. Oh well. Matthew knew how to get into her little world and she loved it. It was sweet...well for them. 

He's reading! Shocking

It is like pulling teeth to get Jesse to read. I tried buying exciting books for him but to no avail. I made him bring this to the doctor's appt. He loved me for it! Ha!

Batter Up!!

He did this all on his own. No one ever showed him how to stand. He takes a step forward when the ball is coming and slams it with that super thin bat. Yep, he is a natural. :))

Baby Sitting

I got to watch baby Caleb on Saturday night. Can't remember the last time I watched a baby aside from my own. It was his parents first time leaving him. I was honored. Isn't he sweet?

Tracy

I got to work with my friend Tracy again on a wedding. It is so much fun to shoot with her. She has so much energy. She was searching for the perfect light and this is the spot where she found it so I snapped one of her....since she was so excited. 

Goggles!!

Oh my word!!! Are they not the cutest. Matthew has always loved goggles. Daniel needed them after the first day. His eyes were burning. And Critter, well he just wanted to be like the other boys! :)

One of my favorite people

My sister in law is one of my favorite people in my life. Love her to pieces. She just finished coming back from Yosemite before they came to SD and took a picture in the very same place as the one in the magazine. Fun! Love our hotel reflecting in her glasses. It was such a nice resort.

Jesse and Madeline

We took a family vacation this week. We went down to SD. Our first evening we had a picnic in the park next to the beach. Jesse and Madeline are only 3 months apart and the first grand children on my side. They have been pretty close since they were little. We don't get to see much of them so it was nice for them to get to hang out. They are getting so big.

Summer Wild Flower

I LOVE this weed/flower! My hubby says it is a wild flower. It only blooms in the hottest part of summer...like 100 degrees hot and above. They popped up a few weeks back when we were having that heat wave. It makes me think of when we are in the heat of trials how God will always bring something beautiful during those times to encourage us!

Coyle Family

The only pictures I took today were of my friend Holly's family. She is the one smooching her hubby! :)They had a reunion this weekend and wanted a big group pic. I think it would be so neat to have a big family to do things with all the time.  But I am excited to be with my tiny family  this week for vacation. You know my husband is one of 45 cousins and he went to a reunion one time before we were married and there were over 350 people. Sheesh! 

Learning to sleep anywhere

He fell asleep playing the iPhone. hahah! We have had long busy days and I don't think he gets the naps he needs so he is strating to fall asleep anywhere. :)) Cute.

Tricks

The boys were outside doing their tricks as we waited  for our caravan to ride to the beach and I didn't want to take my camera to the beach. :)

Full House

Can't wait until they keep bringing more friends over. This was fun. I love having a full house of boys!!
