Under the Arbor Up on a Hill

Two friends, me, a basket full of breads and chesse, salami and grapes, a table cloth, a picnic table under an arbor up on a hill over looking the vineyards and mountains, a couple of gerber daisies in a jar with water,  the busy winery down below where we got our glasses of wine, the warm setting sun and a gentle breeze, a nice long conversation, a woman who told us we had to leave since the winery was now closing, the absence of people and being the last ones there, a quick sample of port and a chocolate truffle for each from the friendly staff, a drive to the movie theaters, Julie/Julia, lots of laughs...... inspiration for a new girls night out tradition!!

oh yeah, a camera, the discovery that there was no memory card, a sigh of disappointment, realization that we will do it again!
