Grey day

Jesse was taking a break in our spare room from the day and chose to enjoy the beautiful grey sky filled with rain. It was our first real day of fall after a long hot summer. We had a wonderful fire in the fireplace from morning to night. Can you tell my mother had just left with all the extra pillows and "lovely" blanket (I think she actually made that in the 70's) in the backgroud that we used as a mattress pad?

The light actually looks like sun. I wonder if it was peeking through the clouds.
