Cereal Birthdays

Three of my boys have birthdays within the next 12 days. Our family tradition is to let them indulge in any sugary cereal they want for their birthday. They talk about which one they are going to pick all year long and it has finally come down to the wire. The first celebration is on Monday. I think the first pick may be Captain Crunch this year. Looks like last year was Cocoa Puffs for the first round. Here are a few pictures from last year as I reminisce though they are more focused on the gift then the cereal.

We thought a pocket knife would be a good "big" boy present.....

......but maybe we should have considered a different gift!

Happy Birthday boys! It doesn't take much to make them happy. :) That is a tradition they will always remember.

okay...the last entry is a bit of a mystery to me as to who it is but I am assuming it is you Trac. My first clue is you have nothing capitalized but Cocoa Puffs, a signature in all your e-mails and texts ;) (except of course your invoice to me) . Two the name is Robert, who of course is your hubby although I cannot access the profile. And three, well it just sounds like you.

Also, is there really a difference in the sugar content of Cocoa Puffs or Fruit Loops? hehehe Check out Cherrios someday...it relly is almost as high, but shhh dont' tell the kids.

Oh no I am such a BAD parent- I buy Captain Crunch- but not on b-days just regular days! :) Although most of the time they eat oatmeal. Not bad. Pres has chosen for his Grammy to come make swedish pancakes for his b-day breakfast tomorrow! talk about sugary!
