A Good Laugh
So I have a broken toe and a pretty good limp. Now this isn't the funny part but it will become important.
While at the hospital during Christopher's surgery Eddie decided it would be a good idea to use a wheelchair for me. Well I got in it fine but when it was time to get out I got stuck. Turned out to be for children. Hmmmm, that would make sense since it was Children's Hospital.
The following day a worker at the Ronald MacDonald house asked me if I would mind if she asked me a personal question. "Sure", I said. She continued, "Are you pregnant?". I laughed and told her, "No, I just wear my shirts snug!" and laughed some more. She was quite embarrassed. I told her she was brave to ask.
I went and sat back down to eat my breakfast and thought, "Maybe my limp looks like a pregnant waddle" and "My toe needs to get better so I can start exercising".
It was a good laugh!
